Announcement made my Board of Control of Cricket regarding home series fixtures against West Indies

India is all set to begin its seven week home series which will take place against West Indies along with test match on October 4 at Rajkot.

This test series will start after completion of Asia Cup.

For the same, on Tuesday Board of Control for Cricket in India announced home series fixtures against West Indies.

This test series tenure will compromise of five One Day Internationals, two tests and three T20Is.

The date of test series is all set and is set to be played from 4th October to 11th November.

Sourav Ganguly was also invited for the meeting as technical chairman of committee at fixtures and tours committee meeting.

Along with Sourav Ganguly, General Manager of Cricket Operations Rajan Tiwary and Saba Karim and Amitabh Chaudhary acting secretary were also present.

From 4 October to 8 October opening test will take place at Rajkot and second test will be held at Hyderabad from 12 October to 16 October.

On 21st October five day ODI series will begin at Guwahati.

Followed by second one day international on 24th October at Indore and then third ODI on 27th October at Pune.

The last two ODIs will take place at Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai on 29th October and 1st November.

After ODIs three T20 internationals will be held one on 4th November at Kolkata, second on 6th November at Lucknow and last on 11th November at Chennai.

Currently Indian team is playing with England in 5 match test series in which the current result is 1:3 after four tests.

The final and fifth test will be held at London on Friday.

After playing ODIs with West Indies, India will be visiting Australia for long tour of about 2 months.

While on other hand, India will host two T20 and five ODIs internationals for Australia in months of February and March.

The two twenty20 internationals willbe held on 10th March in Bengaluru and on 13th March in Vishakhapatnam.

If you talk about five One Day internationals, then it will be held on February 24th in Mohali, 27th February in Hyderabad, 2nd March in Nagpur, 5th March in Delhi and last on 8th March in Ranchi.
