The Indian team has been announced for the West Indies tour starting on 3 August. The Indian team will play 3 T-20 and 3 ODIs. After this, the Indian team is going to play two Test matches against the West Indies. India lost by 18 runs to New Zealand in the semi-finals before the end of the World Cup. They will try to capitalize themselves against the West Indies.

BCCI has included some new faces in this Indian team. Dhyakrita has included Manish Pandey and Shreyas Iyer, who are in excellent form for India. Young left-arm fast bowler Khalil Ahmed has also made a place in the team as selectors have decided to give some rest to Jaspreet Bumrah.

There will be three T20, three ODIs and two Test matches, starting from August 3, which are part of the World Test Championship. Fifty matches will start on 8 August, in which Guyana will host the first match while Trinidad will host the next two.
