The Indian team prepares for the tour down under in November

The year of 2018 is going to be a stern test for team India as they have to face some mammoth tasks in England, New Zealand & Australia.

The team is currently in England playing the first test which is the first big test of Virat Kohli & co.

The team has to counter the weather of England along with the bowling of Stuart Broad & James Anderson.

But the real test of team India awaits them in Australia as it is going to be quite a long Australian summer.

The tour is a broad one with 3 T20I, 4 Tests & 3 ODI’s to be played by the team on the tour to Australia.

The test series will commence in Sydney & India has to play on the fast & bouncy pitches of Perth & Brisbane before finally moving to Melbourne for the Boxing Day tests.

Predictions for the T-20 series -

The T20 international series is expected to be an immensely contested one with both teams having one their previous T20 tournaments.

The Indian team has supreme batting power led by none other than Virat Kohli & the charismatic Rohit Sharma can come up with a master innings anytime.

Apart from this, Shikhar Dhawan has also been in hot form while the specialist Suresh Raina can also be lethal along with Pandya.

Evergreen MS Dhoni is also there to make things easier for India while bowling line-up is also settled with the likes of Bumrah, Bhuvaneshvar, Kuldeep and Chahal able to take anyone to the cleaners.

Australia will rely on the likes of Aaron Finch, Maxwell & Lynn to take them home in the series with Andrew Tye being the leader of the attack.

Predictions for the test series -

This is going to be the real test of team India with none of the batsmen except for Virat Kohli has a good record in Australia.

The likes of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood & Pat Cummins may be the nightmare for Indian Batsmen.

But Australian team lacks a genuine leader which makes things easier for team India.

The batting of the Australian team is also fragile with no top quality batsmen in their ranks.

Team India also has a good bowling attack, so this might be the series when they can finally stamp their authority in Australia. The series may end with a 3-1 in India’s favor.

Predictions for ODI’s -

Just like the tests, the Australian team is also struggling in the One day International as well and will look to Aaron Finch for inspiration.

They were humbled by England last year and with the form of Indian team, the chances are bleak for the Australian.

The men from India will look to dominate the ODI’s against the Aussies and may even hope for a clean sweep for the first time in Australia.

But Aussies may be able to avenge some pride and the series will end with a 2-1 score in India’s favor.
